Our Commercial Landscaping Design and Build Process
Step 1: Initial Meeting/Landscape Design
A licensed landscape architect is usually hired, hired by the commercial property owner, to generate a commercial landscape plan. The commercial landscape design is determined by what species of plants go into the garden and the hardscapes that exist in the design as well as plant scheme of the landscape.
It is very important to note that creating a beautiful and serviceable commercial landscape requires design expertise and a thorough knowledge of the plants that will thrive in the soil of your particular property.
For instance, commercial landscapes generally require the heartiest of plant material that can withstand heavy traffic from feet, bicycles and cars. Consideration of these kinds of issues is key to minimize future maintenance costs and eliminate the unnecessary costs of redoing work.
Our Construction Crew has expertise in the following:
- Water Features
Step 2: Cost Estimate
Next, an estimate is generated for the work per plan. Your Down To Earth Landscapes, Inc. estimator is quite flexible during this part of the process. An original estimate is simply that—original—and can easily be added to or subtracted from. During this process, careful attention is always given to the landscape architect’s design.
Step 3: Commercial Landscape Installation and Construction
After agreement is reached, planning begins for the implementation of your design. Our staff is extremely sensitive to time constraints, and will do the best we can to finish your job in a way that satisfies each client’s needs while never sacrificing quality. We love working with people, and will therefore, be extremely attentive to any kind of shift in the project scope. Your architect and our landscape specialist(s) assigned to your project can discuss any changes to job scope, and changes can be navigated in the field.
Step 4: Post Installation – Commercial Landscape Care and Maintenance
After we complete your installation, we are available to discuss ongoing maintenance, if desirable. We stand behind all of our materials, and we will guarantee our plant material for six months (excluding natural disasters or neglect) and irrigation materials for a year.
Creating healthy and beautiful landscapes is our top priority. We promise to create for you a gorgeous outdoor living space you will enjoy any time you are on property.
And you can have the peace of mind knowing that we’re bonded, licensed and insured to protect the safety of our staff and clients.
